F-PLN

Press FPL. The page title is ACTIVE FLT PLAN, or MOD ACTIVE FPL while a modification is pending.

PREV / NEXT scroll the legs. Related pages include MISSED APPROACH and ALTERNATE FPL.

Leg edits

Left LSKs (adjacent to the waypoint):

  • Empty scratchpad — DIR TO that waypoint (or change an existing direct-to). Direct-to can show CRS/RAD, INTC CRS, and ABEAM PTS.

  • Ident in the scratchpad — insert or replace the waypoint.

  • Airway entry — insert along an airway (invalid entries show INVALID AIRWAY ENTRY / AWY NOT IN DATABASE).

  • *HOLD* or *FLYOVER* in the scratchpad (from NAV / PATTERNS) — apply that pattern to the selected fix.

  • DEL (*DELETE*) — delete the waypoint / discontinuity as allowed.

Right LSKs — speed and altitude constraints (CAS, Mach, or altitude). Invalid values post INVALID ENTRY.

Typical scratchpad alerts: NOT IN DATABASE, NOT ALLOWED.

ACTIVATE / CANCEL

After an edit, ACTIVATE (LSK 6R) makes the MOD plan active. CANCEL discards it.

Other bottom prompts appear by phase: DEPARTURE, ARRIVAL, TAKEOFF, LANDING, PERF INIT, DES NOW, MISSED APPR, EXIT / RESUME HOLD.

Direct-to

There is no DIR function key. Use a left LSK on the desired fix with an empty scratchpad.

Holds from the flight plan

  1. NAVHOLD, or NAVPATTERNSHOLD. Scratchpad shows *HOLD*.

  2. Press the left LSK next to the holding fix.

  3. Complete HOLDING PATTERN, then INSERT/APPLY.

  4. ACTIVATE the MOD plan.

See Holdings for parameters and exit (EXIT / RESUME HOLD).
