# PRESSURIZATION

### CABIN ALT SELECTOR KNOB <a href="#toc118376442" id="toc118376442"></a>

**DOWN (Momentary action):** Closes the outflow valve manually.

**STOP:** Normal position.

**UP (Momentary action):** Opens the outflow valve manually.

### MODE SELECTOR KNOB <a href="#toc118376443" id="toc118376443"></a>

**MAN:** Manual control of the outflow valve. No automatic cabin depressurization on the ground after landing.

**AUTO:** Automatic operation, changes between the different pressurization modes.

<mark style="color:red;">**LFE CTRL:**</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">Allows manual input of the landing field elevation, pressurization remains in auto mode. FMS derived LFE is shown in green. Manually selected LFE will be displayed with a “M” in front of the altitude readout and in cyan.</mark>

<mark style="color:red;">Note: Flight plan must be closed to display LFE.</mark>

### DUMP BUTTON <a href="#toc118376444" id="toc118376444"></a>

**PUSH IN:** CPCS system operates automatically

**PUSH OUT:** Returns the system to normal operation.

Note: Not available in manual mode. If pushed in while in manual mode both recirculation fans and packs are turned off.

### LFE SELECTOR KNOB <a href="#toc118376445" id="toc118376445"></a>

<mark style="color:red;">**DOWN (Momentary action):**</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">Decreases LFE in 100 ft increments.</mark>

<mark style="color:red;">**STOP:**</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">Normal position.</mark>

<mark style="color:red;">**UP (Momentary position):**</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">Increases the LFE in 100 ft increments</mark>

<mark style="color:red;">Note: Only works when the MODE selector knob is in LFE CTRL.</mark>
