### My Activation keeps failing <a href="#my-activation-keeps-failing" id="my-activation-keeps-failing"></a>

### Are there known incompatibilities? <a href="#are-there-known-incompatibilities" id="are-there-known-incompatibilities"></a>

**FSRealistic**

If you start FSRealistic before a flight with the Tecnam the nose wheel will sink into the ground and removing the chocks causes a jump into the air. Therefore please start FSRealistic after spawning.

**Other 3rd party addons**

Unfortunately, some 3rd party addons are not programmed optimally, so that they overwrite certain standard functions or displays in the MSFS and change their behavior, which in turn affects our aircraft. The following errors can occur:

* The DRM popup window does not appear
* The aircraft doesn't appear in the selection menu
* The whole addon crashes

To prevent this, we strongly recommend using an addon linker (e.g. the free [MSFS Addons Linker](https://de.flightsim.to/file/1572/msfs-addons-linker) Tool) to activate only one aircraft addon per session and prevent mutual misbehavior.

The following 3rd party addons have already been identified as problematic by our community, although no guarantee can be given for correctness and completeness.

### What is easy and realistic mode? <a href="#what-is-easy-and-realistic-mode" id="what-is-easy-and-realistic-mode"></a>

**Easy Mode** is intended for all recreational pilots who want to get started without extensive manual study. No walkaround is necessary, and we have also switched off the circuit breakers. Just get in and fly.

**Realistic Mode** is intended for more demanding flight simulator enthusiasts. To be able to start the engines here, a certain know-how and the correct application of the procedures is necessary. In addition, all systems can be switched off individually via the circuit breakers to achieve a higher level of difficulty. Also, the score is saved, such as the switch settings, the fuel and the battery can quickly discharge if you do not leave the aircraft properly.

You can switch between both modes via the tablet. Go to the options menu and select the left captain's hat icon for easy and the right for realistic.

### Engine doesn't start up <a href="#engine-doesn-t-start-up" id="engine-doesn-t-start-up"></a>

**Easy Mode**

* The best way is to follow our [quick start tutorial](https://docs.flightsim-studio.com/tecnam-p2006t-analog/introduction/quick-start-tutorial).
* Also make sure that you are really using the easy mode. Go to the options tab in the tablet and check if the icon with the captains hat (2 Stripes - left icon) is selected.
* The engine doesn't ignite if you only press the starter once. You need to keep it pressed for a couple of seconds.

**Realistic Mode**

* Make sure you rotate each propeller manually, until you hear the oil bubbling twice.
* Check all conditions described [here](https://docs.flightsim-studio.com/tecnam-p2006t-analog/quick-start-tutorial#realistic-operation-mode).
* Follow the normal [procedure](https://docs.flightsim-studio.com/tecnam-p2006t-analog/aircraft-and-systems/section-3-normal-procedures) closely.
* The engine doesn't ignite if you only press the starter once. You need to keep it pressed for a couple of seconds.
