Options

1. Ground Power Unit

You can enable the Ground Power Unit in order to recharge the battery or in case you want to use the avionics for a longer time on ground. When enabled we automatically switch off all systems to prevent an overvoltage according to the manual.

2. Brake Condition

The brakes work perfectly as standard and are not worn. However, if you want to simulate a slightly older airplane, you can reduce the intensity of the brakes. This way, the airplane brakes significantly less with the same pedal input.

3. Preheater

On cold days, it is advisable to preheat the engine. We have built a blower for this purpose, which you can use to blow warm air under the hood. Observe how temperatures such as oil change over time. But remember, the colder it is, the longer it takes. Don't forget to switch off the heaters again before starting the engine.

4. Restore State

If enabled, the following items are taken over from the last flight when loading the aircraft. Please note that this applies per livery!

Persistent State Saving Items
  • switch field LH

  • switch field LH

5. TKS Fluid

The P2012 is equipped with an extensive anti-ice system that requires TKS fluid. You can use this slider to adjust the amount of fluid or refill it after a flight. Take a look at the exact handling of the anti-ice system here: TKS ICE PROTECTION

6. Panel State

You can load a predefined panel state with one click. You have the choice between Cold & Dark and Ready to start. Select the appropriate preset and click on Load to apply the selection.

7. Cabin Type

You can select various cabin options in our P2012 add-on: Airline, Cargo, Combi, Medivac single and Medivac double. Select one and click on Load to apply the selection. This is independent of the selected livery.

The Skydive variant cannot be selected in the EFB, but must be selected via the MSFS Livery selection menu. It therefore only works with specially configured liveries. The reason for this is that, in addition to the cabin, the exterior model is also different and this cannot be reloaded dynamically.

8. Headphones Simulation

If the engine noise is too loud for you during the flight, you can use this option to put on ANC headphones. This will significantly reduce the noise.

Mission Hub

You can use the free FSS Mission Hub. For the P2012 we currently have 2 mission packages available: Zil Air and Alpen Air. They replicate real world operations with the P2012. Looking forward to see you on the leaderboard!

Charts

As for all our airplanes, we have also installed the navigraph charts application in the P2012. If you have a valid Navigraph Charts subscription, you can display your desired charts in the EFB.

  1. Add a new airport tab

  2. Select the airport to access the charts

As we're using the WT G1000 avionics suite you can also install the Navigraph G1000 plugin and use the charts directly on your MFD screen. Check out more details here.
