The aircraft weight can be set via the default MSFS Weight & Balance menu or via the EFB integrated in the Tecnam.
Click & drag the sliders to set the weight.
C.G. position can be defined by means of the chart below. The pilot is responsible for ensuring the correct useful load loading.
Example:
A/C empty mass moment: 378 kgm
A/C empty mass: 790kg
Occ. front seats: 160kg
Occ. rear seats: 140kg
Fuel: 72kg
Baggage: 18kg
A/C T.O. weight: 1180kg
For all flights, a fuel calculation must be performed based on the times calculated in the flight log.
In a standard flight the aircraft should be fully fueled on both tanks as long as the passenger/cargo load allows.
This results in a fuel supply of:
52.8 Gal = 200 ltr.
Substract 10 ltr. for take-off and taxi = 180 ltr.
Based on this a safe flight time of approx. 4.5 hours is calculated, if one uses a consumption of of 40 liters/hour.
With an assumed consumption of 40 ltr./h, surcharges for possible climb flights are already included.
Usable Fuel: 194 ltr.
Startup + Taxi ~10 ltr.
Holding (FINRES): ~30 ltr.
